ANNOUNCEMENTS
February 15, 2026
- This week we begin the holy season of Lent. Ash Wednesday Masses will be celebrated at 12:10 PM and 6:30 PM here in the church. We invite everyone to come and begin Lent together in prayer and reflection.
- Our annual Rose Lenten Seafood Dinner fundraiser begins this Friday and will run every Friday through March 27th. Be sure to check the bulletin for a menu insert with all the details.
- Stations of the Cross will also be held every Friday during Lent at 7:15 PM in the church. Join us as we walk with Christ on His journey to Calvary.
- The Rose Knights of Columbus invite you to a FREE Grand Slam Breakfast on Sunday, March 1st, following the 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM Masses. Bring your family and your appetite—everyone is welcome!
- Teens in grades 6 through 12 are invited to a free Teen Lenten Reflection on Saturday, March 7th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon. We’ll take a closer look at why Lent calls us to prayer, fasting, and sacrifice. The morning will include reflections led by Joseph Gonzalez, youth minister at St. John the Baptist in New Freedom, along with food and fun games. Be sure to check the bulletin and register by February 20th.
- Parents of Confirmation students: the Confirmation Retreat will take place on Saturday, March 14th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the Parish Center. Lunch will be provided. Please mark your calendars.
- Men of the parish, during this Lenten season you are invited to grow deeper in your devotion to St. Joseph—the patron of the Church, model of husbands and fathers, and faithful worker. Come learn more about his virtues, his relationship with Our Lord and Our Lady, and how we can imitate him in our daily vocations. This Men’s Lenten Reflection will be held on Saturday, March 21st, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
- Women of the parish—do you ever feel stretched by busy days and heavy responsibilities? Life moves quickly, and it can be easy to lose sight of our giftedness. You are invited to pause and see yourself and the world around you with a fresh, Christ-centered perspective. Join us for a Women’s Lenten Reflection on Saturday, March 28th, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.
We hope you’ll take part in these many opportunities to grow together in faith this Lenten season.
Our OCIA sessions are underway on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the Catholic faith or to invite a family member or friend who may be interested in becoming Catholic. New participants are welcome to join at any time. For more information, please call the parish office or see Len Mialki.
