Upcoming Events
REMEMBERING OUR LOVED ONES IN A SPECIAL WAY
Our 2026 Mass Intention Registry is nearly filled, so we are offering another beautiful way to remember and honor our deceased loved ones on special dates throughout the year.
An Intercession of Remembrance may be requested for a loved one on a meaningful date, such as a birthday, wedding anniversary, anniversary of their death, or another special date. The remembrance will be included in the Prayer of the Faithful at Mass, allowing our parish family to join together in prayer and gratitude for the life of your loved one.
Beginning in 2027, there will be fewer weekend Masses available for intentions, as we will have one less weekend Mass and one weekend Mass each week is offered for the People of the Parish. To allow more parishioners the opportunity to request Mass Intentions, each person will be limited to five Mass Intentions throughout 2027.
The 2027 Mass Intention Book will be available beginning September 15.
Another option is to have a Mass Intention offered by a retired priest, a priest serving in a special ministry, or through the Office of the Missions. Please note that you would not be able to attend this Mass, and the Mass may not be celebrated on the specific date request.
All Mass Intentions and Intercessions of Remembrance will be listed in a special section of the bulletin. The stipend is the same for each option. We also have the Sanctuary Candles and the Memorial Altar Flowers as ways to honor your loved ones.
We hope these options provide meaningful ways for our parish family to continue remembering, honoring, and praying for those we love.
A Message From Our Pastor
Dear Friends in Christ,
Welcome to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. I am grateful that you have taken the time to visit our parish website and to learn more about our faith community. Whether you are a long-time parishioner, a returning friend, or someone seeking a spiritual home, please know that you are always welcome here.
As members of the Body of Christ, our parish lives its mission to share the love of God with all by living the Gospel of Jesus. Guided by the Holy Spirit and strengthened by the Sacraments, we strive to deepen our faith through Service, Education, and Outreach, especially to those most in need. Everything we do flows from our encounter with Christ—most especially through the celebration of the Eucharist and our devotion to the Blessed Sacrament, the heart of our parish life. In prayer before the Lord, we are renewed, healed, and sent forth to serve.
Our patron saint, St. Rose of Lima, is a powerful model of holiness, humility, and charity. Her deep love for Christ, her life of prayer, and her generous service to the poor continue to inspire us to live the Gospel with courage and joy. The beautiful mosaic of St. Rose behind our main altar stands as a reminder of her witness and of the rich faith handed down through generations of this parish family.
St. Rose of Lima Parish has a long and blessed history, dating back to its founding in 1907. From its earliest days, education and faith formation have been central to our identity. St. Rose of Lima School remains a treasured part of our parish, continuing a tradition of Catholic education rooted in academic excellence, faith, and service. We are proud to form young hearts and minds to know, love, and serve God.
A vibrant parish depends on the gifts and generosity of its people. I encourage every parishioner to consider sharing your time, talent, and treasure in service to the Church. Whether through liturgical ministries, outreach to those in need, support of our school, or behind-the-scenes assistance, your involvement strengthens our parish and builds up the Kingdom of God.
Thank you for being part of the St. Rose of Lima family. May the Lord bless you and your loved ones, and may St. Rose of Lima pray for us as we continue to walk together in faith.
In Christ,
