MISSION STATEMENT
St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, as members of the Body of Christ, shares the love of God with all by living the Gospel of Jesus. Guided by the Holy Spirit and strengthened by the Sacraments, we strive to deepen our faith through service, education, and outreach to those in need.
With the impending threat of substantial snow accumulation on Sunday, January 25th, please tune-in to WGAL television or go to their website to see if there are any changes to our regular Sunday Mass Schedule before heading out.
Religious Education will follow the Family Handbook (see below):

ANNOUNCEMENTS
January 25, 2026
- Visit St. Rose Elementary School’s Open House today from 1 to 3:00 pm. Enjoy an alumni-guided tour, meet members of our school board, faculty and staff, and discover all St. Rose Elementary has to offer. We hope to see you there.
- The Holy Sprouts playgroup meets today after the 9:30 am Mass in the Parish Center. This week’s theme is Vehicles of the Church. No registration or fees are required. All parents with young children are welcome.
- This is the last week to make donations to be counted towards our 2025 Diocesan Annual Campaign. We have not met our goal – please consider making a first-time donation or making an additional donation so that we can meet or exceed our goal. Thank you for your generous support.
- The Knights of Columbus Grand Slam Breakfast will be next Sunday, February 1st after the 7:30 and 9:30 am Masses in the parish center dining room. All are welcome.
- St Rose will be hosting a Natural Family Planning Session on Saturday, February 7th from 10:00 – Noon. Please see the bulletin for details. This session is especially suitable for newly engaged, newly married, or married couples who have not yet learned about NFP. Childcare will be available and there is no fee. Please register by Wednesday.
- Bishop Timothy Senior invites men throughout the Diocese of Harrisburg to prayerfully discern a call to serve the Church as permanent deacons. A new formation cohort will begin in August 2026. Men between the ages of 30 and 62 who are active, prayerful Catholics are encouraged to speak with their pastor about this possibility. Applications are available through pastors and are due by March 15, 2026. If you’re interested or if you have questions and want to talk to Fr. Celestine, please call the parish office to set-up an appointment.
- By our baptism, we are called to share our faith with our family and friends, with our neighbors, indeed, with the whole world. At the urging of Pope Leo XIV, we are invited to join in the worldwide mission of Jesus by joining the Society for the Propagation of the Faith, reaching out to the people of the world in more than 1,150 mission dioceses. In making this commitment, we pledge to pray for the missionary work of the Church, offering our personal crosses for missionaries and those they serve. Offer regular financial help in support of those who bring the “Good News” of Jesus to our brothers and sisters in the missions. Please say “yes” to this special missionary call – by contributing to next weekend’s second collection.
Our OCIA sessions are underway on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the Catholic faith or to invite a family member or friend who may be interested in becoming Catholic. New participants are welcome to join at any time. For more information, please call the parish office or see Len Mialki.
